小さな屋根を持ち歩く、というのがどこか想像力をかき立てるのかもしれませんね。

この絵本は、いつもイライラしているおじさんが、嵐の中傘をさして歩いているところから始まります。風で飛ばされた傘を拾ってくれたのは、お菓子屋さんの美味しそうなタルトを物欲しげに眺めていた少年でした。
雨の中で出会ったおじさんと少年のちょっとした友情物語です。

サラリーマンのおじさんが主人公というのも珍しいですが、この絵本の特徴は大胆な構図です。
こうゆうダイナミックな感じも絵本の魅力ですよね。
