Celestino Piattiは、スイスの著名なグラフィックアーティスト、画家、ブックデザイナーです。
1961年から1991年にかけてドイツの出版社dtv（Deutscher Taschenbuch Verlag）のために6,000点以上のブックカバーをデザインしました。多くのカバーに彼のシグネチャーである「フクロウ」のモチーフが登場します。絵本では動物（特にフクロウ）をテーマにした作品が多く、太い黒い輪郭線と鮮やかな色彩が特徴です。

2022年、彼の生誕100周年を記念してスイスで記念切手が発行されました。

Celestino Piatti is one of Switzerland's most famous artists. The designer of thousands of posters and book covers made Piatti an icon.
