アルゼンチン出身の詩人ホルヘ・ルンハがラテン・アメリカのたくさんの子供たちから、ペットについての面白くて興味深い手紙を受け取りました。
子どもたちは、犬、猫、ウサギだけでなく、カメ、インコ（さらにはマーモットも！）など、たくさんのペットについてユニークなことを書いてくれたそうです。

この手紙に触発され、ホルヘ・ルンハは、ペットの動物たちと子どもたちのユニークな関係を描いた詩を書きました。
同じくアルゼンチン出身のイラストレーター、イソルのエネルギッシュなイラストが、子どもたちの奔放な様子を豊かに描いています。
