ラズロは暗闇が怖かったのです。
暗闇は、きしむ屋根となめらかで冷たい窓、そしていくつもの階段があるラズロの家に住んでいます。
ときどきクローゼットの中に隠れていて、ときどきシャワーカーテンの後ろにすわっている。
けれどもほとんどの時間、暗闇は地下室にいるのです。
