昔々、森で育った賢い少女がいました。
彼女の父親は善良な人物ですが、口が軽く大げさな自慢をする癖がありました。
ある日、父親は王の前で「わが娘は藁を金に変えることができる」と豪語してしまいます。
これを聞いた欲深い王は少女を城に連れて行き、部屋いっぱいの藁を与え、
