ジャン＝フランソワ・セネシャルは子どもや青少年を対象に、社会的な問題、例えば排除や不平等などを探求しています。
彼の作品は数々の賞を受賞しており、2017年にはカナダ芸術評議会からジョセフ・S・スタウファー賞、そしてカナダ総督文学賞児童文学部門を受賞しています。

シモーネ・レアはローマ美術アカデミーを卒業後、ボローニャ・イラストレーター展に2度選出され、ブラチスラバ・ビエンナーレ・イラストレーション展ではBIB賞を受賞しました。現在はイタリアのアルバーノ＝ラツィアーレを拠点に活動しています。
