街の中の小さな売店で働いているオルガさん。
ちょっと体が大きくて、外に出るのが大変なので、彼女は一日中、売店の中で過ごしていました。

旅行雑誌を読んで遠くのリゾートの写真を見て夢見ることもあるけれど、彼女はそれなりに幸せそうです。

けれどもあるとき、建物ごとな大変な事件が起きます！
普通の人ならへこたれてしまいそうですが、オルガさんは、これ幸いとばかりに起こった出来事を楽しみます。

最近はあまり見なくなったキオスクですが、狭い場所にいろいろなものが並んでいるのは、ワクワクしますね。

もともとはたくさんの賞を受賞したアニメーション。
ラトビア出身で現在スイスで活躍するイラストレーター/アニメーターのアテネ・メルツェさんの絵本です。
