「鶴さんが卵を３つ残しているから、とってきておくれ」
おじいさんゴリラに言われて、ゴリラの坊やは鶴の卵を３つ取りに行きました
卵のところにはフラミンゴがいました。
「遠いところまで、ご苦労さんだね」
とフラミンゴは言いました。

そんなやりとりを、ベルベットモンキーが見ていました。
チンパンジーがベルベットモンキーに、何を見ているのかと尋ねると、
「あのチビゴリラ、フラミンゴの卵をくすねてやがる」
と言いつけました。

ゴリラの坊やは３つの卵を割れないように大事に運びます。
そのあとをこっそりとつけていく、別の猿たち。
おっちょこちょいのベルベットモンキーのせいで、ゴリラの坊やは、迷惑な勘違いに巻き込まれてしまいます。
