ドイツのモダニズムの画家、彫刻家、振付師であるオスカー・シュレンマーは、1922年にバウハウス・バレエを創設しました。
シュレンマーのトライアドバレエは、伝統的なバレエの繊細なチュチュや振付とはかけ離れていました。
この前衛的なパフォーマンスは、3人のダンサー、12の動き、18の大胆で彫刻的な衣装で構成されていました。
