クロード・ロヴァット・フレイザー（1890年5月15日-1921年6月18日）はイギリスの芸術家です。

ロヴァットは子供のように鮮やかな色彩を好んだと言われています。
まわりの人々は彼を「朱色の画家」と呼んでいたそうです。
机の上に黄色と緑の鮮やかなインクの瓶を置き、絵と文字を組み合わせ、当時の印刷技術（基本的には白黒）に挑戦するデザインを作り上げました。

後年、彼は舞台デザイナーとして名声を博していきます。
1921 年、ロシアのバレリーナ、タマラ・カルサヴィナから、彼女の劇団がコベントガーデンのロイヤルオペラハウスで上演するショーのデザインを依頼されました。
そしてその年の 6 月、弱った肺は負担に耐えられず、彼は亡くなりました。

100年経った今でも時を感じさせない素朴ですがとても色鮮やかな童謡集です。
