ビルギッタ・シフはアイスランド出身のイラストレーターです。
レイキャビクで生まれ、スカンジナビアで日々を過ごし、その後、アメリカで育ちました。
彼女はニューヨークのコーネル大学で美術学士号を、英国ケンブリッジ美術学校で児童書イラストレーションの修士号を取得しました。
現在は、ケンブリッジ美術学校で児童書イラストレーションの修士課程の准講師を務めています。
